Jump or pull back?
About a month ago, I challenged you guys to either push me over the edge , or pull me back from the abyss. Well, push (actually jump) won the day, and I'm happy to report that tomorrow 10/4, I will pick up an '08 "S" with seven miles on the clock from NPR Ducati in Ga. The bike has the Termignoni 2 into 1 system with the titanium pipe for 15.5K. I shopped around and not only do I think that price is pretty good, NPR was the only dealer within a 400 mile range that seemed to really wanted my business. I'm in Charleston, SC, so it's a bit of a ride but worth the time and effort. Full report when I get a few miles in. . .
Oh yeah, black frame, red tank. Something different, but it works.

M-Head,
Mt. Pleasant is the first city north of Charleston, SC. Right across the Cooper River, about three hours from you. No roads to speak of down here, it might be better if I go north!

That is of course the best color combo and Paul is a great guy to work with. Hopefully I can figure out a way to run mine over there next week for the first service.

Damn it! That's what I have! Haven't seen another one yet. I really dig it and and had to pull a few strings to get that combo.

No guys, no photo's just yet. Actually, I have to get into the details and find out how to post pictures, but I'm sure it's not that hard.
First impressions: easily the most fun I've had on a bike in years! In an earlier post, some of you said that the HM would take years off of your current age. . . if so, I've lost at least 10 years in the last 100 miles. Very nimble quick steering but not "nervous". Mega-wonderful brakes. Torque monster that just pulls and pulls. (I have the Termi 2 into 1 installed). Very narrow, with rear-view mirrors that actually work. I didn't think that I would like the "enclosed" hand grips, but so far, OK. Seat as bad as the worst '70's Moto Guzzi plank. . . that sucker needs to go ASAP. To add to what MongoWERA had to say, I currently live in Charleston SC. I called/e-mailed dealers in SC, NC, and Ga, and NPR (outside of Athens, Ga) was the ONLY dealer that showed a real interest in talking w/ me. Paul Bunde is a good guy, and I feel very comfortable in dealing w/ them. . . and the deal was great!
Now, what kind of oil should I use and how do you people feel about WD-40?
