A question for Termi 2-1 owners

I remember reading a while back that the full system's plastic rear side panels were replaced by CF panels at some point. Today, someone who should know told me that the 2-1 system still comes with plastic side panels and that any mention of CF panels in any Ducati literature was a mis-print.

So, is there anyone out there who actually owns a Hyper that has a 2-1 system that came with CF rear side panels in the box? I'd really like to clear this up and the only way is to produce people who actually bought the system with CF panels. Then again, maybe I got it all wrong.

PS: the brochure for the 2009 Hyper lists the DDA as standard equipment with the "S", so I guess that little issue may finally be cleared up.

My carbon fiber can 2n1 came with plastic panels but it was an early model one. It was my understanding that the titanium can one came with carbon fiber panels.

I have the CF kit and it came w/ plastic. The titanium comes w/ CF panels. I've chosen not to replace my plastic panels with CF. When you stack the CF can, CF panels and CF looking racing seat it starts to look a little goofy.

Well I bought my bike early this year and had the 2-1 fiitted before I picked it up and it came with CF panels. Mind you this is in Sweden. Also in the 2008 accessories book it shows pic of CF panels with 2-1 kit.

I agree a little contrast is good.

All of the Termi full kits have had carbon side panels for the last few months. We haven't had any with plastic for a long time so what we have in stock now has carbon fiber: http://www.store.commoto.com/ducati-...stem-p-97.html

I bought my 2 into 1 exhaust last year and it came with plastic panels. All the new ones, regardless if the can is carbon or titanium, come with CF side panels. I was just at the dealer last week and saw them take two systems out of the box.....both had CF panels.

And it looks pretty sweet with the carbon panels. For those of you that don't like the looks of the CF panels with the race seat and CF can, feel free to IM me, I'll be more than happy to swap my plastic panels.
