Thumbs up Wear your helmet...

Saw a Harley rider face first in the pavement with blood flowing from his noggin tonight
Police were there but they were just standing over him, Gave me a sick feeling in my stomache
Wear all of your protective gear my friends

I saw a good one like that a few years ago. In that case, the guy was so drunk, he didn't know - or care - how much pain he was in. Until the next day...

yep, always wear your helmet & riding gear.
an insurance agent saw that i ride, and asked if i was an "organ donor", which is in what he calls guys that don't ride with proper gear on.

it's amazing how many Harley's can be seen at bars.

also make sure that your helmet fit's correctly.

I passed a similar scene a couple of months back, but the Vulcan 2000 rider was alive and on a stretcher. His face was totaly mutilated. The "accident" was on my immediate left and afforded a very clear view of the gore.

Full face helmets just aren't part of the approved uniform these rugged individuals are permited to wear when riding their cruisers.

We are a differant breed because most of the Hyper owners probably started out riding dirt bikes at a young age
There are a shitload of Harley riders that are on their first bike ie:40 yr olds, If you grew up riding bikes your chances of having a bad wreck on the street are lower

Us Hyper riders would look wierd without our helmets
