anyone running 5 spoke BST wheels on their tard?

ciao a tutti -

i have a set of 5 spoke BST wheels on my mh900e, and have been contemplating moving them to the tard for some time now.

reason i have not made the switch yet, is i am not too sure how sturdy the BST wheels are for riding on not so smooth streets (the ones i choose to ride the mh900e on).

has anyone been running BSTs on their tard, and if so, on rough roads, with no bad ju-ju happening (like the wheels cracking)?

i have seen the 5 spoke BSTs on the NCR tard back last nov. in milan at eicma show ... but have not heard of anyone using them in the real world ... so looking for input from someone who has been running them.

a presto,
johnc

BST do a 7 spoke supermoto wheel. If they can take the impact of this

They should be good for a few potholes

maybe ... but i am asking the question of the 5 spoke BSTs, and if anyone here is running them on their own tard.

besides, last time i rode in the dirt, it was a LOT softer than potholes in asphalt (or bitumen, for you antipods )

I had the above pictured wheels on my SuperDuke and I also have them on my HM- no issues at all and did not even cross my mind ever to even consider them as beeing fragile.

cool ... looks like you are running 320mm rotors on the front ... if yes, did you use 7.5mm spacers and reuse the stock rotor mounting bolts, or did you use longer mounting bolts?
