standard model, EBC HH front brake pads

I must say I found the oem braking feel to be wooden.
Mediocre initial bite followed by no progresivity.
Service manager suggested them so I bought a set for 32$ ea.
Break in took a day and then I get 2 finger stoppies.
This is how I expected a radial caliper to feel like.
There is a new formula that EBC just came out with, EF is the prefix.
These are said to be the same degree better as the OEM to HH.
Price stopped me though, 97$ ea.
Anyone here try the Bridgestone BT003?
Regards Bill

I also felt that the stock brakes were lackluster. Not impressive at all, not even up to par with some of the Japanese bikes I have owned.

But I put on the EBC HH pads and bled the lines with new fluid, and the brake performance and feel improved 10x.

Night and day difference, for $60 worth of pads and a $17 bottle of Motul brake fluid.

This is one of the cheapest mods I have done.
I love being able to bump stoppies at 30~40 mph.
On the fork I had to crank the preload, 3 turns of compression damping, and + a couple turns on the rebound.
OTW, this fork would bottom with a severely nasty clang
Getting the fork sorted is my next goal. Just got spoiled by Ohlins Supermoto forks. I keep expecting that level of linear damping.
regards, Bill
