changed the clutch fluid today

The fluid in my clutch canister was down to about a 1/2" and was black. Got out the old syringe and pushed in some nice new DOT 4. Same method I've used for years on KTM clutches. Take lass than an hour. See photos if you haven't done this. I move the canister temporarily outboard so no fluid gets spiled on the paint.

I havent seen it done like that before but I can see why it might be easier to bleed.

That is an interesting idea. I'll have to remember that when the time comes.

thats the same setup used for bicycles with hydraulic lines
