reset tps...what a difference
I installed the termi slipons, DP ECU, airbox cover, and LV cat eliminator about a week ago. It looks great and sounds great but the idle was all over the place and was running really rich for some reason. I finally got over to the dealer to have the tps reset and fuel trim adjusted, and all I can say is that it makes a world of difference. The idle is rock solid, and now after a ride doesnt smell like gas is leaking all over. The hurky jerky slow speed manuevering is way better and the power delivery feels super smooth and linear according to the butt dyno. I'm cant believe how smooth it runs now, much better than it was stock.

cool ... if you have not had your tard's suspension set up yet, jim lindemann will be there the entire day, doing his wrench spinning magic adjustments:
Sportbike Suspension Setup Clinic
The Lindemann Engineering Sponsored Sportbike Suspension Setup Clinic will be run by Jim Lindemann, where he will measure and tune your motorcycle's suspension to match your weight/riding style, all for a $50.00 donation to the La Honda Fire Brigade.

Nice.Sounds like a deal. I've been a little reluctant to touch my rear preload after seeing AZ Scotts post about the nylon adjuster nut. That was ugly! I am by no means a suspension guru so it would be nice to have a pro get the baseline settings in the ballpark.I assume this is on a first come first served basis?

Lindemann set-up my suspension and the bike went from virtually unrideable (after I installed the Termi 2-1) to being on-rails.
Tip: Spray some light lubricating oil (i.e., Belray 6-in-1) on the shock spring preload adjuster rings a week or so before attempting to adjust them. In so doing, you will greatly minimize the risk of galling the threads.
