15/44 with stock chain

I want to try 15/44 gearing. I can get a quickchange carrier with a 44t 525 pitch sprocket that will also take a 520 sprocket. I'd like to try it with the OEM 525 chain and go 520 later. Is the stock chain length long enough to go with the 44t rear? Thanks.
