Largest allen socket on HM?
HM'ers,
I'm about to order the 14mm allen for the oil screen filter but while am at it I might as well cover all needs ... is there a larger size on the bike that I would need down the road?

Typically, I really like Craftsman tools and I have some socket style allen wrenches from them. However, I swung by Harbor Freight and found multi-piece set of metric and standard socket style allen wrenches and bought them for less than just the 14mm Craftsman. I guess of occasional oil change, I will swallow my pride and work with the Chinese crap.
I usually find some other crap I don't need there too. I found some stuff from Home Depot a while back that was still in the original package and was 10 years old according to the reciept in the bag. Oh well, I will use it sometime.
Out!

I haven't seen any hex heads larger than 14mm. If there is it'll probably be 17mm. Metric inhex sets generally come with 6mm, 7mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm 14mm & 17mm bits

hex
There is a tool in your tool kit for this, why spend the money? Usually it is the backside of your sparkplug wrench, unless Motards didn't come with one.

Craftsman.com
Yep, nothing in tool kit and next size up from 14mm is indeed 17mm ... anyways found 1/2" drive sockets for $9-11 at Craftsman.com so ordered 12mm, 14mm, 17mm to complete my tools. One day I will be so happy to have the 17mm in the garage, maybe not for the HM but something else
