I remember reading a post about the Zard tail light mount (?) not being grounded correctly or something like that. There should be a thread on here about that somewhere.

Found it:
Note For Owner's With (& without) DP Luggage Rack installing Zard Penta

There was another thread where someone discovered the insulation worn off several wires in the rear section of the bike, under the red thing behind the seat. I searched but was unable to find the thread.

When installing my ZARDS, I shorted one of my wires during my test before I shrink wrapped them after solding the wires. I blew the same fuse, so that is the likely problem. One thing you need to watch when soldering the wires is to not get a sharp spot in the solder or it can poke through the electrical tape or shrink wrap and you are screwed. Shorts can be a bitch to find, but this one should be easy since you know where to look.

Out!

Ok so i found out it was the number plate light...the wires were on the wrong terminals, which made the + short out on the metal number plate mount. I switched them around and the - is now earthing and the fuse is fine.

But......i cant seem to get the front light to go. Im not sure how long it has been out, but the HI PASS button works but the hi/low switch has no power to it. Are there more fuses?

OK so i found the fuse box and one of the 15A fuses was out, so i swapped it and all is good now

On the fuse subject.

Do any of you pull any fuses for trackdays for the lights, or do you just tape.
Just don't want the tape to bake onto my headlight.
