Zard collectors arrived :) Anything thing I should know before install??
I know exhaust are usually very straight forward. But again this is a Ducati and I keep running into fun issues ie TPS reset, idle is off, drop exhaust just to do oil change, etc.
I have the Termi 2-2, dp ecu, air box lid, and now the ZARD collectors. Everything is installed except the collectors. Some had a lil prob installing the collectors and others say it was a breeze..
Any lil tricks or issues I should know about prior to install?
Also can I just keep the Slip on loose when I install the collectors?
Thanks Im sooo stoked to hear and ride !!

definitely keep everything loose when you install. Fit it all together without tightening anything up then adjust and tighten from the motor back to the end of the exhaust. It's an easy install this way.

Post some images when you get it all together.

It is a good idea to clean the pipes (and silencer if someone is using aluminum or Ti) to prevent stains from baking on. I use a multi-purpose lubricating spray such as Motorex Joker 440. I'm not sure off hand how well alcohol will work though as I've never tried.

The Zard Top Guns went on pretty easy for me. I mashed the wire harness tube down so it is flatter and coated it with some black paint and it looks better in my opinion.
Make sure to use the stock heat resistant washers wherever they come from the stock system. You won't use all of them.
Here is how I modified the Zard tail kit to look better.
Zard Top Guns Dyno Run
I should be getting my header and mid-pipe soon. Then it will be off to the dyno again.
Out!
