Leo Vince Cat Eliminator
I got it from Guy(GEE-BEE). He gave me a nice deal and I got it right away.
At idle the sound level is pretty much the same(which is good if you live in a quiet community as I do), but as you rev it, it definitely is noticeably louder and a lot more bark to it.
Peter(DukePilot) also assured me that it would be a simple plug n play, which it was. The quality, fit and finish is excellent. The instruction is of course in Italian, but who needs instructions to put a cat eliminator as it is so simple.
The added bonus is something I didn't expect. The surge at crawl speed in first gear got a little less. That alone would be the worth the price of admission.
The cat wasn't as heavy as I expected, but the eliminator is fraction of the weight. Also it really cleans up the look down there. It no longer looks like a snake that swallowed an ostrich's egg.

Did you change your ECU or is it still the stock unit? Any other mods?

No stock ECU. Both GEE-BEE and DukePilot told me it was not necessary to change the ECU. I plugged in the O2 sensor into the cat eliminator and it runs perfectly. The only other engine "mod" I made before was removing the canister.

I just installed my cat eliminator this afternoon. The cat weighed in at 5 pounds, 12 5/8 ounces. The cat eliminator weighed in at 2 pounds 11 5/8 ounces. Weighed them in on my wife's kitchen scale. She's going to kill me.
I was surprised at how much the exhaust note changed. It also seemed to be a bit snappier without the cat. I should have done this months ago.
The rest of my Leo Vince (and ECU) goes on later this month when I can get it in to be tuned.

I was going to call it done after the cat eliminator but now I'm thinking of getting a Zard Slip on and ECU. When does it ever stop?
I would consider going all Leo Vince, but don't like how close it looks like it comes to hitting the carbon hugger.

Yeah, I'm not a hug fan of the Leo Vince system either but it's the least expensive of the bunch and I'm a cheap bastard.

Personally, for the quality I think the Zard Top Guns are the best bang for the buck. You get good looks, quality construction, and great sound for $1200 or so. You should be able to pick up an ECU for $300 or so.
I bought mine from Anthony at Desmoworks and he gave me a great deal. I like the fact you can do the slip ons, then add the headers later and it doesn't cost any more.
Out!

You can do the LV cans for less than $700. The Zards look great but I can't run an open loud can as I start the bike up at 6AM. Plus, $1200 is just too much for slipons, but I guess it depends on how much $$ you have and what your after. I do like the Zard header system, thats a good deal for what you get.
What I want to know about the Leos is how they come apart. I can send stuff out through work for black anodize and I'd like to do the cans black and keep the tips as is.
