No Shit! Mine did the same thing. Snapped clean in half at 60mph on the highway. I cut mine in half near the place where it broke and overlapped the two pieces and had the whold thing tig welded back togather. Feels super strong now. The shitty part is both blinkers were ripped clean offand I had to replace both. I ordered the blinker reloation bracket and a set of Rizoma blinkers and I'm all set. Thenew set up is much nicer but still a hassle for an almost $200 part.
Old look. (before it broke)
New look.

Hmmmm, I've got almost 7,000 miles on my Tail Tidy with no problem. AND it survived my recent crash with just a bend to the left. The crash also wiped out my right muffler and bent my subframe 3 or 4 inches to the left, so...
Sorry to hear yours was not of the quality as mine.

I will sell you this kit I hand fabbed for $65 shipped with the Motrax led blinkers and night light. It bolts right up to the stock support, but you have to splice the wires. for the lights.
Tail Kit Fabrication
I had to do another one to work with my Zard cans, so I can no longer use it.
Out!

If nobody else wants it and I can mount up the standard blinkers to it or it comes with blinkers I'll gladly pick that up from you.

Sorry, I sold it a while back. I think there are a few new options out there that are built better. Do a search on some of the threads. Good luck.
Out!

So now I don't know what to do. I wanted to order this Tidy Tail from ebay. So, bottom line. Should I get it or not? I really can't see why it would break without a crash/fall. I like the look of it.

Wait a little while, I ordered mine from Evotech and it's on the way from the UK now. I will keep you posted.

I have at least 7k miles on mine, it always vibrated the lisc. plate against the mufflers so I added a stick (something that soaks up vibes and won't burn or melt) in between to cut the vibes. When I moved the signals to the DP bracket it vibed more and needed a bigger dia. stick to quell the shakes, but still with me. I was surprised from what it is made of. It would never have lasted on a Meridian Triumph.
