2009 hypermotard ?

Just sold my old bike. Can't wait to pick up an HM but I'm waiting for the 09's to come out first. Can't find any info about when they come out online. Does anybody know when they are coming. I wonder if the 08's price will drop at all. I'm definatly picking one up even after hearing all the problem's you guys are having. If the 09's worked out the bugs I'll probably get the 09 unless I get a sweet deal on an 08.

If you wait for the bugs to be worked out of any Ducati, you'll never buy one. It's part of their charm.

I guess your right I was mainly refering to the stalling issue. This would be my first Ducati. I rode my friends Monster and I wanted one. So when the HM came out I put my Sportster up for sale.

Ever since Martin Eurosports in Coopersburg, PA took my bike in for the stalling, and tuned it, it's been running great. Thumbs up to Bill Himmelsbach's golden touch.

I doubt that the 09s are going to be much different. You may get a good deal on an 08 if your local dealer has a bunch. Good luck with it. I love mine even after all of the hassle with the stalling. I've owned it just over a year now.

good news that you waited ... the '09 hypertards will have a 1735cc watercooled, supercharged motor, supplying 192 RWHP, and 200 foot pounds of torque. and they will weigh 39 pounds less than the '08 models, and have a base price of $11,750 for the standard model and $13,500 for the "s" model, which will have carbon fiber ohlins motogp forks, ceramic rotors and a rudder for underwater riding.

Wow really!!! Thank God I held out. How fast do you think it goes under water? I'll have to get the base model so I can afford scuba gear.
