Okay, I'll Bite...
Okay, I'll bite...
In another thread a poster said that the type of turn-signal - i.e. normal incandescent bulb or LED - could be selected from the left-side switch assembly and dash panel to control flash rate. Once again, I have tried the "Search" function of the forum and combed diligently through my owners manual and I'll be damned if I can anything, anywhere, on how to do this...
Anybody out there know the drill???
Thanks!

enter the hidden menu (hold up on the MODE switch then turn the key to ON)
scroll to the SET INDIC setting, then hold the switch in the DOWN position until you see SET LAMP
change from LAMP to LED
hold switch in the DOWN position until you see "nen"
turn the key to OFF.
also in the hidden menu there is an EXVL (so you can manually move the EXhaust VaLve) and UNIT (to change the unit of measurement)

Wow...
That's too cool, Quackzilla.
Thanks!
But tell, what is the "PRO" listing in the menu with all the zeros underneath?
And, can you tell me how to turn off that silly little "wrench" icon that appeared at 625 miles without my having to go to the dealer (who is 230 miles away...)???
Thanks!

the "wrench" is the service reminder, you need a VDST to clear that.
more hidden Service Menu info in a new thread

I can't get the wrench symbol off either. Even the ducati mechanic couldn't do it. I'd appreciate help with this one also. Cheers

I'd find another Ducati dealer if your tech couldn't turn that off.

I inquired about this to Technoresearch before I bought the VDST. Some older versions of VDST have had trouble with that, the new one works fine.

I'd say that could be the issue. I might mention it next service.

Just to be clear, the unit shown on the technoresearch website VTDS-Standard is the correct unit for the hyper S, and you have used this without issues? At $185, seems like a deal, and I know some of the locals have been talking about how nice it would be to have one around. Thanks. -801
