hypermotard jacket
Hey all...
I am an old school harley guy who is new to the ducati scene. Unfortunately my leathers aren't quite appropriatew for my new hypermotard 1100s. Anyone out there bought the hypermotard jacket or the hypermotard summer. Any thoughts on this accessory dilemma would be greatly appreciated.

I have the Ducati Motard Jacket- "regular" version I guess, not the summer (see photo). Have been wearing it for the last three months and I've really loved it. It has a zip out liner which I haven't used yet, but probably will be using soon as the weather gets colder. Its made by Dainese, so it seems to be constructed well and has a pocket for their back protector, which I also use- I never know its there during the course of normal riding, so I would say it doesn't sacrifice any comfort. Wore it on a ride here last weekend- temp. was around 90 degrees F, and I was never too warm as long as I kept moving- ventilation is quite good as well. I would give it really high marks, but you may hear different from other users. Just my two cents...

I have the Ducati Motard Fabric Jacket too. I like it. It's a little warm in 85+ degree weather if I'm not moving. But I bought a black jacket. I guess that's the price of fashion. But it has a very nice liner for the cooler weather coming up. Make sure, you try it on because the sizing is very small.

just because you bought an overpriced and under built bike why do people insist on the 'ducati' package for overpriced and under built gear! and to boot you look like a tosser anywhere but starbucks!
Alpinestars SM-K jacket, thats a good jacket.

First Gear Kilimanjaro for cooler to cold weather as well as potentially wet days and an Alpinstar mesh for the really hot days. Also have a Belstaff that I use more off road, it's nice because the sleeves unzip and it becomes a vest if it's hot (only on the atv). No need to drop that kind of cash on the Duc stuff, if wanted to spend more I'd go Aerostitch.

Simple really. I wanted a Ducati jacket so I bought one. And, Starbucks sux! Dunkin Donuts has way better coffee.

Funny, but it sounds like you're more concerned with fashion than anyone else.
"Oh, I can't wear a Ducati jacket with my Ducati! What will people
think?!"

I have checked out other brands of jackets... they seem to be around the same amount of money. I live in new engalnd and it gets cooler in sept. and oct. want something I can wear for most of the months I ride As far as my other jacket goes...too many harley patchesand pins I dont think it will match my bike... or my nail polish for that matter..

I'd just ride down to Vanson in Fall River, Mass and pick up one of their jackets. Awesome quality. Timeless style that will go with any bike.
