It can be fine tuned with the air screws that are under the small plastic caps(if they have not been removed by the dealer). Your bike should run smooth at 1250 rpm, raising the idle is masking a tuning problem. I would turn each one in all the way counting the turns, they are probably in the neighborhood of 1-1 1/2 out. You might even want to put a Sharpie mark on the screw and body before you touch them to help you get back to baseline if you need to.
