gel seat more comfy than stocker??

i'm going to take a long trip on the hyper and i waited too long to order the seat. Does it make a big difference?

If so, does anyone have a suggestion to get one in the next 10 days ... going to indy baby!

Seriously? How many miles do you have on the stock seat? I thought it was ok until I rode my bike for the 2nd time. The stock seat sucks. I did 770 miles on it before I switched to the Comfort (lowering) seat. It's a lot better. I can't say anything about the race seat though.

I dunno, maybe 5000. I can ride on it for a few hours --off and on without too much discomfort. I feel like i've gotten used to it somewhat.

the comfort seat is ALOT better than the stock seat for long rides. did you try Desmoworks or Seattle Ducati?

i'm going to Indy as well, so we should try to meet up. hope we can get my friends Triumph up and running so we can ride out.

I put 853 miles on my HM bringing it home from the dealership. It took a half hour to get the bike out of my ass.

Several weeks ago, a friend came up and we went riding. I was on the BMW and he was on the HM. Everything was fine for the first 2 hours, maybe. We spent a good part of the day on the bike.

When we got back, he called Ducati Seattle and ordered me a comfort seat - early BD/Christmas present.

It...is...a huge improvement.

If you want a seat, do what I did; invite Bevel up for the weekend, go on a long ride and let him take the HM.

Thanks, Bevel.

The comfort gel seat is much better then the stock seat.

On long rides I still put my sheep skin on the seat...
