termis don't use the closed loop setup because it uses a new ECU
you run in Closed loop in lower RPM's, throttle position & engine load with the stock ECU.
also closed loop is used for emissions

Wink

DP ECUs dont run closed loop. will it be better? define better. Better fuel enconomy... highly unlikely as most DP ECUs use a blanket rich fuel map to cover unforseen enventualitys , ie avoid lean running, I suspect ducati use the extra fuel for additonal piston cooling.
Better power? if you combine it with better breathing (air intake) then yes this is likely.
Note I didnt say best... as that usually requires a custom map which the DP ECU cant do in stock form.

MY45, did you have any issue with tab on the front pipe. Mine misses the isolation mount by about 2.5 inches. The rest of the install was clean. Also did you remove the butterfly valve motor? I did and know I have an EOBD light. Thanks Tom

The tab needs to be removed by undoing the foot peg and behind it is a hole for the fat bolt in the kit to screw into. I needed to cut the tab because there wasnt a spacer to go back behind the pegs, you will see when u do it.

MY45, the only "fat bolt" in my kit was the O2 plug, no instruction either. Although I did get a copy of the instructions, in Italian, they are less than comprehensive is guess would be the nice way to describe them.

Check out the two pictures in my gallery and you will see the system looks correct in its position but the tab is way off. The tab should line up with the blue isolation mount. Cutting the tab is certainly an option but for $1200. I would hope it would fit. Tom

I wish posting pictures in thread was as easy as posting to my gallery.

It isnt meant to line up with the blue mount. You need to remove the whole tab by removing the lower foot peg bolts and sliding the whole tab and blue rubber out, which reveals a hidden bolt hole. Ill get a few pics of mine for you.
