Rear Brake Lever hard to reach???
So after a couple weeks now I have found the Rear brake lever is a bit hard to reach when I am wearing Sidi Riding boots, but it is fine with just my regular shoes.
I wish I could get a lever that would stick out more , but that means it would just drag more.
Anybody else have this problem?
Anybody have a solution???

When I rode demos and Lumpy's motard, I found that the rear brake foot lever was waaaay forward. For me, at least.
I'm wearing Alpinestars SMX-4.

'course it has a rear brake! Thats what makes it so much fun slide sideways to a stop light.
That is if you can find it behind the clutch cover.

I find the rear brake to be a little too good when I come off the 748. I've locked up the rear on the hyper a couple times now....I may be the only one to wish it was softer.

I use mine to keep from smashing my tail light. Reminds me to ride the hyper with my dirt boots for control issues too.

Nice...
Yeah I need to adjust my shifter for my boots as well. Way too low...

Day one on my Hyper I had to lower or rotate the hand controls forward, but raise the the foot levers. It is possible the foot controls were set to use with no rubber tops on the footpegs.
With regard to the foot brake lever and it's height adjustment, the bolt and lock nut were fitted from the top. I first removed the lock nut and fitted it from the bottom side, lever still too low.
I then fitted a short bolt and lock nut, all from underneath so the end of the bolt is flush with the top surface of it's mounting platform. The hole needs to be plugged as the stop light actuating pin lines up with the hole.
The initial height for foot contact was good but it had way to much freeplay and travel to work with my ancient inflexible ankle, so .............
When ever you adjust the pedal height, attention needs to be paid to the freeplay at the master cylinder, the vertical arm from the lever heel that passes thru the rubber boot into the master cylinder needs to have a few thou' clearance to the back of the piston, (not a few mm).

Like Ghezzi said - remove the rubbers from the footpegs. It makes ALL the difference.
PS: I find myself using my rear brake A LOT on this bike ... so much fun.
