idol adjustment
has anyone adjusted their idol? I would appreciate any tips. i hover between 950 and 1k when warm. continues to stall...

oh yeah, i think it started to happen when i took the slack out of my throttle cable.

2 ways to do it.
The owners manual (pg 108?) says to adjust the throttle stop screw (small hex screw) on the right hand side.
The Factory Service manual says to adjust the air bleed screws. you would need a gas tester to do it this way.

Nah, I think the idol adjustment he's talking about is the fact that they're adding a fourth judge next season!

its idle. Like lumpy idle. btw, any of you guys who have installed the race cams, does it give the bike a lumpy idle?

no it doesn't ,after the cams with DP ECU the bike works as lumpy as you want it or as a supermodel ,it's up to you .

I find with the DP cams it's very lumpy on cold start but then idles very smoothly after warming up.
