When is the 2009 supposed to come out???

I was ready to pull the trigger this week and I'm getting cold feet after reading some of those locked tranny posts (which I also experianced first hand on a test ride in ACH), and front brake problems...I started thinking its already September and 09s usually start coming out so why pay the almost retail price the So Cal dealers are askng when I might get a new one for the same price and it may have fixed some of the problems.

Anyone know when they expect the 2009 in dealers???

I have read about the locked tranny issues, but what is the front brake issue?

From one of the posts it seemed quite a few people where having issues with the Monobloc S brakes that would pump up with the second pull on the lever... sort of like the lever getting firmer with each pump... like a bad mastercylider on a car where each time you pump it the pedle gets firmer...That is really unacceptable from a high end brembo... but others didn't have the problem..

My standard Hyper brakes have started to do the same. Woo hoo! Another trip to the friggin dealer.

My front brakes suck!! I dont know about this pump issue but i dont have that grat of bitting power. My single brembo from on my Husky would put this Ducati to shame!!
I love my HYM but this is exactly why I never have bought a Ducati before.
