Its a place called dripping springs. Its actually close to where the Colarado river runs through west TX. Next trip is Ft Davis down to Big Bend.

Did Big Bend and Fort Davis last year, killer triple didgit ride out of Fort Davis to Presidio. Had a little sport car running rabbit and just outside Presidio he got nailed. We were running 110-115mph. Then the river road was a sweet ride. Not much out there though, lotsa havelina, deer and antelope.
We ended up staying at some natural springs off the I-10, Balmorrhea I think it was, nice rooms for the night.
I'd like to hit Big Bend when the flowers come out. Weather there was crazy, kinda like here in NM...cold mornings and hot day days, even some snow at Fort Davis. Then from Pecos to Clines Corner we were in a ferocious crosswind, temp dropped to 34 degrees and it was snowing along the I-40 corridor...we were ridecicles by the time we hit the truck stop at Clines Corner.
The observatory road was another killer ride though it was a short one.
