Front Brake Pump UP

I changed out the front rotors and bleed the brake system. Seems the brake pump up is still there, I know Ghezzi was having this problem and replaced the front master cylinder.

My dealer thought he noticed it on the demo HYM they have so he is looking into it. In the meantime I thought I would explore the options out there and replace the master cylinder.

Anyone have any thoughts about a good front master cylinder?

Help, I gotta track day Sept 19. Bleeding is good for about 300 road klms.

How tall are you and how is your fly screen?

Hardracing.com has to have the worst website I have ever seen. I mean seriously, it is straight out of 1996. LOL

They really need to update it, sheesh.

no argument here ... not suggesting purchasing from them, just found the product photo and description on their site first using google.

http://www.yoyodyneti.com/ has it too, same price but Fred is a great source if you can't find Brembo stuff in stock elsewhere.

Say what you will about their Web site, but they were great when I purchased the 19x18 MC and switch bracket from them.

Heck, they're racers, not Web 2.0 psychopaths.

The RCS19 is awesome. Wish it was available when I bought the 19x18. I would like to have tried both the 18 and 20mm offset and the folding lever is NICE. Might have been too long to fit my handguards, however.

6"3'' until last week, now 6'2"....crumped the back loading an isolette into the aircraft....

Windscreen is shite but it looks good with the bikes lines. It does keep a wee bit of airflow off the chest but not worth the c-note. It's bling what can I say.

Thanks for the web site Johnny, looks like a good selection and the prices look better than I had expected. I spoke with the head wrench at the local Duc Pond and he said he noticed it on the demo HYM so he is going to investigate this further but I would like something better. The Cobra rotors are cats arse to be sure.

not to jack the thread too much but I noticed the SuperDuke windscreen has a lip at the top that point out at a 45degree angle or so... I wonder if something like that would be more effective on the Hyper. See the pic.

Back to breaks. I notice my Hyper has a little bit of pump up when the bike is parked, but I can feel it while riding. So I am assuming that the issue some of you are having is much worse that what I have noticed?
