848 chain adjustment

Hey guys, visiting from the hypermotard forum, looking for some help.
I'm adjusting the chain on my friends 848 and I'm familiar with the procedure from my own bike(hyper). My question is do I trust the swingarm sticker, because on the hyper its misleading. What is the correct measurement, and from where? Also what is the torque on the pinch bolts. Just don't want to be responsible for damaging my friends bike. Thanks in advance
Sorry guys, I'm a moron, wrong forum. Maybe someone here knows?

Monstaman, at least I get a reply over here! I think the superbike guys would rather talk about which color looks faster!Anyways, I think I have it figured out, but I would still like your partners input.I kinda know what a properly adjusted chain looks like, and following the sticker aint gonna get you there.
And yes, I expect this to be dragged out.As a matter of fact, bring it on, there are some funny f***s on this forum.
Quackzilla jumped on me before I could even catch my mistake!

the reason why you didn't get an answer on the superbike forum is probably they take it in to get service rather than doing it themselves

My friends chain was super loose. He has less than 200mi on it and watching the chain while riding behind him I could see it rolling in big undulating waves. It looked like he was going to throw it!

Well now..that is not exactly good news ..altho...I have kept an eye on it and it does not seem to have stretched any since my 600 mile dealer check ( I always let the dealer do that one) ..I know have a bit over 2100 miles logged Maybe this weekend I can catch someone on 162 to take a looksee ..

I adjust mine when I change the tires.

Loose is better than tight.
