Stoner owes me money!
If Stoner hadn't crashed I wouldn't have left Newcombs early which caused me to get stuck behind a car going 35 mph which caused me to wait for for a safe straight to pass which caused the leo coming the opposite direction to u turn and pull me over which caused him to give me a ticket for crossing the yellow
DAMN YOU TO HELL CASEY STONER!
Oh wait, maybe it's Marcos fault for making me pass all those cars over the double yellow on the way up to Newcombs this morning.
DAMN YOU AND YOUR CRAPPY PC TO HELL MARCO!

My Grandma lives in Ojai and everytime I ride up the back road from Santa Barbara I curse myself for not being on a bike, let alone my hyper. Hmmm one of these days.
I think Casey had a tough day (major understatement!), unless there are some big upsets, it looks like Rossi this year.

I'm off to Vegas Sunday morning for a trade show. I might be able to swing a Saturday ride if we have our samples, booth decorations and line sheets done before the weekend. I'll see how things are going as we get closer to the weekend.

That sucks Mike. Sorry to hear that. I was in court a couple weeks ago listening to a case involving a dbl ylw violation.
This guy testified that he was driving south down Topanga with a Prius (go figure) ahead of him. The Prius was had his signal on and was indicating that he was trying to pull over to the side of the road however there wasnt enough room on the shoulder for him to get completely over. The defendant said that he went then about two feet over the dbl yellow just to pass the Prius. There was no oncoming (north) traffic to be found.
The CHP cop testified to everything the defendant did but the judge still found him guilty.
Did the guy break the law? Definetly yes but I (as well as the other guy next to me) was fairly certain that the judge would give him a break. Letter of the law vs spirit of the law thing.
Was is Strout that got you?

Awww, Mike, that's a huge BUMMMER!!!! So sorry, dude. On the bright side, at least you saved money on breakfast. As far as me crossing the double yellow, well, I have no knowledge as to what you are referring. I was two up so I couldn't have been going that fast.
FWIW, on the way down I got tailed by a LEO for over 2 miles ... I mean, he was so close he might as well have been performing a rectal exam of my tailpipes. I pulled right and waved him by on 3 separate occasions but he just kept following. People were riding by going the other direction tapping their helmets at me, then when they saw him, they got all sheepish. The funny thing was he was helmet tapping them ... had a shit-eatin' grin on his face the whole time.
Finally he went around me - nearly clipped me on the pass - and took off at 70mph (I was going 50). Dude disappeared way out in front of me, then all of the sudden I see him coming back!! His pegs were scraping and everything ... this dude was COOKIN'. I think he was just out for a good time as I never saw him pull anyone over.
PS: My PC could beat up your Mac...

Nah, it was Morrin? Morran, Moron? I was so busted, I was over the line headed straight for him. He passed me, turned on his lights and did a u turn, I pulled over before he even did the u turn. I was hoping my politeness and pulling over would get me off with a warning but it's ACH. The only good thing to come of it is that I got to bitch about the cyclists riding 2-4 abreast on blind turns. He assured me that they are pulling the cyclists over and will start giving tickets soon if they don't get their shit together.
wtf, when you are busted you gotta take it like a man!
