Clutch mods in an afternoon....$10

I love the sound of a dry clutch, so I took a grinder with a cutting wheel to my clutch cover. 10 bucks worth of paint to the cover and the stock cast pressure plate.....not too bad and much cheaper than my other options. I already had the SpeedyMoto stainless springs and caps.

Previous owner powdercoated the pegs and brackets. The OEM exhaust and LV cat elim are ceramic coated.
As far as the nick: A little body putty would have fixed it, but looks good enough for me.
I'm no metal working and controlling a 40,000 rpm grinder isn't so easy, especially considering the curve that I wanted and the thickness of the cover.
I'll get a couple of pictures today from the side.

Dude,

Thats not cool. Georound posts up a home made mod and you have to trash him because he made a small mistake?

I'd like to see all your home made mods and see how perfect you are.

Nice job Georound, it's good to see someone who is not afraid to do things himself.

Sorry it's not on a Hyper but here's my home made open clutch cover.

Thanks, Monstermash. I'm not offended. I interpret everything as tongue in cheek. I actually have side cover on order from Italy. It's on the slow boat, hence the hack job.
Great job on your cover. From what I see, your bike looks awesome! Got a full shot from the side?

bike looks great. You may want to shelf that expensive italian cover. I like the exhaust and belly pan. I can't recall seeing them on any other bikes. I may have to coat my termi headers this winter. I think heat wrap would add a nice racey look but it would ruin the pipes.
