What Tyres to get?

Hey I am about to make another Tyre buy. The Stock S Diablos have been cool enough so far. I burned through a rear in less then 2000 - and now have a nail in the second rear after only one track day,,, $wesome...

At that rate the Pirellis are getting to be a little Pricey - but other than that no complaints.

Anyone have any feedback on other brands on the Hyper that aren't going to get ran through like Denise Richards?

I am gonna check those out.

I had Corsa III's on my CBR1000rr Repsol Edition, 999s and FZ1, was happy with them.

Then I tried a set of Dunlop Qualifiers, the new ones, not the 208's... Loved the way they felt!

I have the Bridgestone 014's on the Tard now, and those came on the Repsol, but I was never all that crazy about them. They are ok I guess.

I have the stock Bridgestones on the Hyper and they're fantastic. Good and sticky on the edges with what seems to be a good tread life in the middle.

I had the Pilot Powers on my 916 and they were a good all-around, semi-agressive tire. I managed to slightly overheat them once and they got slicker than melted butter on a bananna peel.

How did you get a nail in your tire at a track day?
