14T DP vs AFM or other

After reading a bunch of the different threads on gearing down I've decided to go with a 14t up front. My question to you guys is which is better: the DP or AFM or another aftermarket sprocket? Better meaning quality of the part vs cost.

For me it is not so much greater acceleration (it already sinks my eyeballs back in their sockets sufficiently) but hopefully better ride-ability in town in lower gears - less hurky-jerky when the bike isn't sure if it is idling, stalling, or going w/o murdering my clutch...

Of course I have to get it back from the shop for the infernal stalling first but this will go on right after.

Opinions?

For now just get the 14t DP, see how you like it, and then when your set wears out get the AFAM carrier and 520 conversion in the same gearing or 15/44 if you think its too low.

You will need a GOOD 1/2" impact gun to break the countershaft nut loose and also need to remove the peg/shifter mount for room. With the peg mount removed all the force of the side stand will be to the motor case, not a good idea, just support the bike on another stand before you start.

Took me a half hour, if you don't have the tools especially the impact just tell the dealer to install it while its there.

I fitted a 14t for the same reasons... and to facilitate 2nd gear wheelies, if I'm honest.
But... I'm sorry to say that, while the wheelie part worked (at least, it's just my lack of skill that's the problem now), the 'hurky-jerky' didn't really get any better for me. Then again, I did make other changes at the same time, eg. slipper clutch.
As for the make of sprocket: I got an AFAM (520, lightened) one. The DP parts are just way overpriced in my opinion. Have you seen the price of their chains?

Cheers,
Mike
