hyper broke down!!!
Hey guys my hyper broke down during a ride for no reason. The problem located somewhere within the clutch!
I was at a red light i step in 1st gear nice and then 2nd and thats it! it wouldnt accelerate and i could hear a strange noise wihtin the clutch! Something is broken!
Do you guys think that this problem may be caused due to the DP slipper clutch i use?

I doubt it. Sounds more like the internals of the tranny, or more likely the new 10mm wider fork stops.

Does your bike shift through the gears if you rock it back and forth? If it's in gear, does the rear wheel freewheel?

if the lever is stuck in the down position, it sounds like your bike is stuck in 2nd. It has happened to a handful of us and ducati is aware of this problem.

I guess the fix is a new spring. I've read that it can happen as early as the ride home from the dealer. This didn't sound like the same problem, unless it's stuck in a false neutral. That's why I was asking if it would go through the gears.

This happened to me the other Monday morning. I was only 2 miles from home so I turned around and rode back home in 2nd.
The shifter would not budge.
I pulled into the driveway and it shifted.
I have ridden 100 miles since then and it's been fine.
Is this something that happens from time to time?
Warrantee issue?
