Conspiracy Theory? Why does the Multistrada have 5 more HP than us?
Same engine.
Same specs.
What's the deal?

so what I'm getting here is that from the airbox mod alone, we should be looking at 5 hp or so?
Thats funny how cams, ecu *and* airbox is supposed to give us 9hp...

I dont know if just the hole in the airbox gives that much, Now the TPO Beast eliminates the airbox completely and flows much better. My local dyno just showed a gain of 7 HP and 3 ft lbs at the rear wheel of a built Multistrada with the Regular Beast

according to my amici at the factory, dyno tests on the DP dyno yielded 4 hp gain from the DP airbox lid (the hole in the lid mod).

If just the airbox lid makes 4hp, and its part of the 2-1 Termi system, which claims 5hp increase, the the pipe itself is only worth 1hp? (It's still going on my bike, but just curious how the math works out).

I don't care how much horsepower my hyper does or doesn't make, most of my performance riding is between 4 & 6,000 rpm. Give me 100ft/lbs of torque anyday.

According to Sport Rider magazine, the Multi weighs 43 lbs. heavier than the HM-S. Keep the 5 hp, I'll take the weight loss!!!
