Quick TPS Question

If I adjust throttle freeplay per the Owner's Manual, will I have to have my TPS reset?

Thanks.

Yes you will, you will also need the full headers, cams, DP ECU PC111, High compression pistons and new muffler bearings.

No TPS involved with what you are doing you are fine!

I haven't installed muffler bearings in a while; hope I remember the process.

I did go out and get a can of Compression Powder to hold me over until I do the full exhaust, though.

Since we're talking full exhaust, I might as well ask ... when switching to the DP "Full Race" ECU, do I need to use the O2 sensor or just plug the 02 bung?

You can just leave it as is as the ECU disables it anyway, or you can choose to remove and plug the hole and tie up the sensor wire.

Also be sure you have the correct compression powder as the heavier grade can cause detonation

Good call on both. I'll check what grade powder I've got. I should be good on PINGing, though, as I've got 100 octane at a local pump.

Thanks for the insight.

Okay being new to Duc's - do I have to run the DP blinker fluid or will high quality aftermarket like RedLine work?

You'll pay more for the DP blinker juice because it says Ducati on the box. Any aftermarket, high-grade fluid will suffice.

A guy at the dealer told me to change the coolant out at the first service.

Also mentioned something about a billet waterpump?
