Voided Warranty

I bought my Hyper 3 weeks ago, the salesperson said the dealer had to sign off on the service in order keep the warranty valid. Is this true?

Of course not. Go back and tell the salesperson to put that in writing and sign it. Watch the back pedalling.

as long as you have some type of reciept you should be alright. mention the Magnuson-Moss warranty act and it usually shuts the person on the other end right up.

BS, if this is how they act, you'd better look for a different dealer.

Keep your receipts and you are good. Most dealers don't really check anything at the first oil change. When I received my bike it had 0.0 miles on it yet I had to pay the dealer prep fee. I think at least 90% of all dealers suck and are unethical to some degree.
