I picked up this helmet when I got the bike. LOVE it. Lots of compliments. WAY,way better than my HJC AC-12 Carbon.

Budget Approach
The Ducati Motard helmet is a pimped out Arai XD3, if you can stand to lose the graphics you can put about $200 back in your pocket; mine comes in (in gloss black) tomorrow to match my gloss black "S" model. I can now dedicate my sliver Corsair to my 2000 W-650 (silver & blue).
Just a quick note to acknowledge that a "budget approach" to anything Ducati is probably an oxymoron

I've got a black XD and a black RX7 that work just fine with my red Hyper
I do need some shields for the XD, time to go shopping.

Just get Arai XD, I have one and it's great. The only thing that I don't like about it is that the visor is not easy to remove (for cleaning)

Shoei Hornet DS
I have an extra brand new Shoei Hornet... matte black if someone is interested in buying at a good price.
http://www.shoei-helmets.com/road/pr..._hornetds.aspx
I love it...fits my head better than the Arai.
