Quick poll to find out how you tend to ride the HyperMotard:
1) Always like a road racer- Knee down;
2) Always like a supermoto racer- foot out;
3) Mostly foot out, but when I feel like it, knee down;
4) Mostly knee down, but sometimes, foot out;

Really a combination of (1) & (5). Knee down for hardcore cornering/track, but usually just sitting up on the bike. Pretty much the same way I ride any sport bike...

I agree but for me it's (2) & (5). By habit the foot comes out if I find myself in precarious situation in a corner...

I'm mostly a knee down kinda guy, but the Hyper's so damn agile I really don't find a reason or need to hang it out to the point where the slider touches tarmac. That said, since I started on the Hyper my toe slider is going to need replacing before my knee slider does.

If I ever get a knee down it will be closely followed by my shoulder and bike I think
I can rash the tires to the edge easy enough but the pavement seems a long way from my knee, being short doesn't help.

Interesting that no one yet is #2- foot out always.
I thought for sure, that would be the most voted.
