One Tank of Gas

Just in case any of you Hyper owners are wondering exactly how far you can go on one tank of gas before it dries up.......the answer is 94.2 if you are riding "spririted" in the mountains, and you can just barely squeeze 3.2 gallons in after that if you don't mind some overflow. Luckily I only had to push from the end of the off ramp about .3 miles uphill to the nearest gas station. Could have been much worse!!!! ;D

PS> This was with a full Termi system and a 220 pound rider.

Did you happen to notice what the mileage was when your light came on?

Sounds a little low, but some people aren't getting as good mileage. I too ran mine out once too, just shy of 100 miles, but that was a combination of twisties, high speed, and bucking a head coming home. I usually get about 33-36 mpg, now with the DNA filter, modified airbox, DP ECU, and Zard slip-ons. I would described my overall riding style is moderately aggressive.

Before the mods, I was able to get around 38-40 mpg, maybe a little more.

Out!

same

68 to 72 and light comes on every time with "fast" canyon riding. Highway riding could be like 80-82, thats with no mods and undertail 2-2. I am sure it could go 90 before the light if i rode very conservatively = boring
