Where does this connector go?

Week before last I took my HYM-1100S to the dealer to have the DP racing exhaust installed. I rode the bike a few times before taking it to the track. After track day I was cleaning the bike and there, hanging between the cylinders was a wire with a plugged connector on the end of it. I've never noticed this before so I don't really know if this is the result of the pipe install or not.

(I pulled the connector out from where it was hanging in order to have it easily visible in this picture. It was nestled between the frame and the cylinders orginally.)

I've looked through the shop-manual, searched this forum and can't figure out where this connector should be secured. The one thing I haven't done is strip the bike down to figure it out. I was hoping someone on this forum could tell me what this thing is and where it attached to the frame (or a bracket or ?). Or, even identify what it is, then I could find it in the shop-manual.

BTW, I love the exhaust. A bit more horespower, a bit less weight, and it revs much cleaner now. It even runs good with the DB-killer inserted.

Regards,
-Ian

It's the accessary plug and it goes to nothing. On the left inside frame, right in front of the engine you'll see a tab welded. The plug slips onto there and stays secure.

Took me forever to figure this out!

That's where your pesky O2 sensor used to plug in before your new exhaust. It's supposed to be slipped onto the little tab on the cross trellis which runs between the cylinders.

Thanks much! It seems so obvious now that I've found it :-)

For those that might also be connector-impaired like me:

Thanks again!

thats ok, mine went in for ecu fit and a week later i found the big bolt that seems to hold the back of the tank in laying in the recess in the swingarm!! also found that none of the cable ties that hold the wires to the frame had been replaced and also now i see the right side fairing is not on right. they did fix the broken battery clamp bolt tho that I'd cable tied on..
