DP Mudgaurd

have a black S, put on the DP mudguard last night. the chain rubs the chain guard occasionally when shifting up or going over bumpiness. does this sound right–loose chain maybe? although the DP does appear to have less clearance than the plastic one...have 890 miles, dealer tuned at 600 i am assuming they checked the chain tension. any ideas?...

thanks!!

That is not the first time this has been said. There have been plenty problems with the fitment of the dp hugger. Check out the shift tech one, no problems with it @ shift-tech.com.

I'll double that!
It seems DP stuff and termi's are of questionable quality, that's by personal experience and what I hear others say on this forum. Ducati need to think twice about their bed partners.

I heard about the problem with the chain rubbing w/dp hugger, so I ordered the
dp unit that does not. include the chain guard. A few minutes of fussing with the
mounting holes and it was on. Looks good and keeps the grime off the shock.

I like it.
