Does anyone have a Renazco seat?
Just thought I would check if anyone had a Renazco seat on their Hyper?
Love it, very comfortable, can't live without it?
I would love to hear some feed back on it, pics are very welcome as well.

I have one on my HP2 - Love it can't live without it.
I am getting one for the HYP, just can't stop riding it long enough to send him my seat.
BTW This guy is very well known on the ADV board and has an excellent reputation. Not cheap but he stands behind his work and every stich will be perfect.

Yeah he is very well known in the dirtbike community. I was going to send my KLX seat to him as that seat makes the Hyper seat feel like a La-Z Boy recliner. Will probably go suede on the top and vinyl on the side. I had the DP comfort seat from day one. Never sat on the stock seat except for the test ride before I bought the bike. If I decide to do the Renazco on the Hyper, I wont have to lose any ride time as I still have the stock seat.

Bump.
I've spoken to James and he mentioned he's done a few Ducatis and maybe a Hyper but he has no photos. Has anyone here had James do a seat for the Hyper?
James has done several seats for me and I consider him the best in the business by a long margin so I'm mostly looking for ideas on design. I found a second seat and have sent it to him but I'm still thinking about looks. Most of the custom seats I've seen here are variations on Corbins or Sargents - touring style seats - and I want something that is actually more moto oriented. I used to like Corbins until I started racing and then I hated the way they put you in one place. I like to move around a lot on the bike so I'm looking for something narrower and more svelte. I know James can make the seat lean and comfortable since I've done 1000 mile days on my 950.
If you're the one person who James has made a seat for post me a photo.
Thanks,
Gregor

I had some emails back and forth with James about doing a seat for my Hyper, and he says he's done a couple but won't do anymore because the seat shape doesn't work well for his process. Too bad, because he's right up the road for me and it would have been an easy ride in. I think you have to keep looking....you won't be getting a Renazco for your Hyper unless you find someone to sell you one of the few that have already been made.

Yup, that's me. Ducati has been one of my clients for a while - that's my shot on the homepage now and is how I've come to be a Ducati owner once more. I've wanted a Hyper since I first shot it years ago so I'm glad to be finally getting one.
James has said he'll make me the seat but perhaps it's a favor for photography I've done for him or perhaps because I was one of his very early customers.
