What to look at for first service

Had the 2008 S H/M for about 3 months just about to get the first 1000 K service. "I know not much riding"

I'm a bit worried about the ducati Noob dealership here but got no choice the nearest decent one where I brought the bike ,is 1000 miles down the road .

any way after looking though all the threads I'm wondering

1/ what to asked to get checked.

2/ what adjustments need to be done

3/ any work or checks that should be done in addition to the first service.


Ive got to get them to check the idling speed , and lower the seating
position other than that i'm all hears


slip on termi's , DP comfort seat, DP rear rack and "soon to be"
speedy moto flow and TPO titanium stage 2 clutch kit , BMC, monster mirror
mirrors conversion,
