BLUE LIGHTS already!!!!

I've had the bike about a a week and I have put maybe 300 miles on it.

Coming home from work today and 1 mile from the house I see flashing lights in my badly vibrating mirrors.
"who me?"
State Troopers, Damn!
I quickly pull over. Pull my gloves and helmet (it was 96 degrees today).
I give up my lic and reg and they go sit in the car.
I see them laughing and one is on the phone.

I'm thinking I'm fooked!

Then one gets out without a ticket in hand. "It your lucky day. Your CDL is saving your butt. 68 in a 55 is too fast so slow it down. I know these things are fast but you gotta slow it down. You already have a -4 on your record."

I thanked him for cutting me a break.

Got lucky this time.......hope they don't clock me tomorrow.

Commercial Drivers License.

I find my CHL helps me most of the time.

I have been pulled over three times since the Hyper purchase in January. The first for appearing to be going much faster than other vehicles on the road, no ticket. The second because I rounded a corner rolled on the throttle and my front wheel came 6" off the ground and got a lecture for wearing earplugs, no ticket. The third (a couple days ago) for 71 in a 45, very painful ticket. This thing is a magnet any way you slice it. I haven't been pulled over three times in 10 years.

Out!
