Damper done, Rearsets rockin'...
Just finished installing my Scott's Damper and Woodcraft rearsets... I'll be happy to help any poor soul who takes on the rearset install... the instructions were pretty horrible, pics even worse. I had been asked to document everything, but trust me my list of expletives would have gotten in the way of any helpful text. Craftsmanship and build quality is first rate however, and they look great. Will test everything shortly. The Damper was a dream to install with the exception of getting that damn ignition/security ring out.... as previously mentioned in another post...

yar...i put on the woodcrafts as well. got a really good deal on them! best bang for the buck by far.
agreed, the instructions sucked...but once you get into it a bit the logic of how the peices come together kicks in. made me think of my Leo Vince exhaust install, the instructions on those sucked as well. I guess that is part of the challenge!

Ha... yeah, I've got the LV full system too... good times, good times... NOT.
I still wake up in a fevered sweat thinking about that postage stamp sized schematic! The horror, the horror... but all's well that ends well.

Betcha he'll come back from his test ride smiling, like all the rest of us, and with a dimmed memory of the profanity induced by the instructions vagueness.
You have any superlatives to share with us now, Brainfry?

Just one. Holy #$@!. What an improvement... for me anyway... the rearsets really suit my riding style... can't say anything about the damper til I really get a chance to test it out... but it's on and ready to prove itself soon enough.

Has Woodcraft asked you to document the issues? Eric is usually very good at detail. He is precise to fault (traits of a good engineer.)

You can order directly from Woodcraft ( www.woodcraft-cfm.com) or you can try Street and Comp (800-326-5487).
