Corbin saddle now on
Got my Corbin in and installed it.
First thing Corbin needs to realize is that with the Termi full system that their key lock will not work with the CF side panels supplied with the Termi exaust.
Next is that they say nothing about moving the battery hold down that gets removed from adding their bracket.
Seat looks good and should work nice after what should have taken 10 minutes to install to me an hour. Had to drill a access hole in the CF side panel to release the seat.

Love to see pics.
Did you try any other seats before deciding to go for the Corbin?

How heavy is the Corbin? The last couple that I've bought for my BMW's have weighed a ton. On a BMW you don't really care about stuff like how much a seat weighs, but on the Hypermotard a really heavy seat would be a deal-killer for me.
I'm going to wait and see what the Sargent looks like before I buy a new seat. They are expecting to have it in production in September.

When they first came out I sent them a message stating my desire to see a racier seat I never heard back from them. I told them that I thought they had a design miscue because their loaner bike had rear rack that uglied it up and ruined the lines of the bike. They ignored the sleekness of the stock seat lines. I think their muse was a 72' Hodaka Wombat.

Had the same sort of experience when I tried to convince Corbin there was a market for a sleek, faired seat for the GT. They sent an automated email that just said they had no plans for a product for that bike but they'd be happy to build one as a custom if I was in their neighborhood.
Lo and behold, they now have a seat available for the GT and it's an overstuffed, tufted monstrosity. Sargent's, on the other hand, is a beauty.
Until I see the Hyper Corbin in person I won't know for sure what to think, but I'm banking on Sargent's being a nice piece. I'm also hearing it will have a storage compartment, which would be a huge bonus. I'm on the waiting list for this seat (any others here?), hopefully we'll hear something soon.
72 Hodaka Wombat...

Corbin, in my opinion is over rated. I've had several and none, and I mean none have fit as described. They also seem to be fasioned for fat, wide, lower exteriors.

Looks like it was made for a pillion weighing in at 250 IMHO. Not sure about the round pancake look in the pillon area and for $379 WTF. Take your stock seat and shave down the back so its flat and looks like you have it.
