Problems with a forward handle stand?

I'm looking at getting this stand for my Hyper, as opposed to getting a standard rear stand. Is there anything I should know before buying it? It'll mainly be used for chain cleaning and other maintenance. Thanks for any help.

make sure you have the correct pin, it should come with 2 pins. the other one is bigger (for 1098) and the smaller one is for the hyper.

I have this one. It works great. It came with two pins. I love this company. I won't by sliders or stands from anyone else from now on.

just watch your hand when lowering the bike back down. the handle almost hits the foot peg right where you grab it!

The stand in that link is for a swingarm with spools, that won't work with the Hyper. You have to get a single sided swingarm stand. I have the reversible Pit-Bull stand and it's very well made. Very nice stuff.

Actually, I was planning on putting on these rear axle sliders: http://www.motovationusa.com/mvstore...?idproduct=269

What about when you want to remove the rear wheel? Are you just going to have the dealer do that?

Dude, get the DP single sided swing arm stand. Even I can't drop a bike using it! I have a Pit Bull stand for the front though.

Good question, which is why I started this tread. Is there a stand out there for the Hypermotard that holds the bike on a daily bases, and when I want to take the rear wheel off, but also allows me to have frame sliders?
