Where to buy HM S in SoCal?
Ready to buy, just need input on prefered dealers and going price out-the-door. Thanks. -K

Del Amo is pretty close by you...that is where I got mines, but I had to send the final price quote back to the sales manager 3 times before he finally wrote on it "you win". The sales guy was pretty cool, but aren't they all when they are trying to make a sale. The experience there overall was just ok...nothing spectacular to note. I was just happy to get out of there with my new Hypermotard! 6,500 miles later and I'm still grinning.
This was back in Sept and the bike was fairly new still, was tough to get a good deal but I did call around a bit to get quotes on where everyone stood.

I got mine from Beverly Hills Ducati because I used to work right down the street from them.
Pretty cool though.
You have to be on point so they don't get anything by you, but once they give a number, they honor it.

I love the feel at ProItalia. I've bought several parts from them and get my service done there. I haven't bought a bike there as I usually try to swoop on a good used bike. I was there last week and their dog, Odie, was walking around plopped down for a belly rub as I was watching racing on the big screen plasma and drinking coffee. Made me wish I had a couple of million bucks laying around so I could start my own dealership!

Del Amo = K-Mart. Shit setup. Hard sale. Shit service. "Mall" style dealer. Don't know diddly about Ducs.
BH Ducati = Classic Duc. Kinda rude. Solid, but mercurial service. $$ premiums. Old school snob-type Italian exoctic dealer. Forget ordering parts. Trustworthy though.
Pro Italia = Perfect mix. All Italian exotics. Soft(er) sale. Good service. $$ premiums. Good people easy to work with. Trustworthy.

Pro Italia is really good, but every time I've tried to deal with them, they never came out ahead of the other dealers...

Hey, someones gotta pay for the free espresso
Me, I'm lucky enough that I can spend my money where I'm treated best and not have to worry about a couple of $$$$'s. I'd much rather pay the price and hear "hey it's our favorite sucker" when I walk through the door rather than have everyone hide.
wtf, life's too short..............
