Speed sensor

Is the speed sensor on the rear sprocket or somewhere where if I change the sprockets I won't have to install a speedo healer?

Correct. No problem with sprocket changes.

Just by looking at it, I believe it picks up on the rear brake rotor mounts

Yeah, that was kind of weird the first time I saw it. But then again my other Duc is a Dinosaur.
