Tail of dragon! Deals gap
My buddy and I with 2 standard hypers will be making a family vacation for a week to N. Georgia from july 27 to Aug 5. Im guessing we will ride the dragon a couple of those days. If anyone is in the area around this time, post up and we could get a trail of hypers going down the tail.

I live about 20 minutes away, I will meet up with you but im not riding the dragon because there are too many LEO's and there are so many more better roads around here

was there this weekend with the wildducs (aka official atlanta ducati club) for a weekend trip. we only did the dragon once... like walking because of the traffic... we counted 6 LEO's on just the one trip... do the cherohala and everything around there... buy a sticker at the dragon store and say you did it.

I agree... we will probably only be doing the gap 1..maybe 2 days of our 9 day trip.
We are coming up from the Tampa Bay area of FL. We will be staying in a cabin rental in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Its about 2 hours south of the dragon. We take the Cherohala Skyway (sp?) to get there.
Most of our riding is around RT. 60, the lower part of 129, and roads around Helen, Georgia.

make sure you spend some time around Dahlonega. Blood mountain is an awesome ride as well, make sure you swing in to TWO (two wheels only) for lunch over the weekend. Check out the atlanta ducati meetup site, meetup.com or go to our club site www.wildducs.org. We ride up there almost every weekend. If you can you should come ride with us, usually have at least 10 - 20 ducs up there tearing it up. Nothing cooler than seeing 20 ducs fly by.
