Ducati Steering Damper Feedback

I just installed my Ducati Steering Damper. I chose this because I assumed that it was a good product. Well I set the setting on all the way tight, and it still felt loose. Its definitely better than nothing. Tomorrow Ill take it for a first ride so I will leave better feedback then. Anyone else have that problem? I just dont like the looks of the Scotts/Ohlins rotary damper. I like the piston look a lot better. It looks kind weird how the top bracket is mounted. Im keeping a positive attitude towards tomorrow's ride.

Does it have a bypass circuit for low speed stuff? Many of the dirt bike dampers are easy to turn but start dampening when you hit something like a rock or root. Doesn't quite make sense on a street bike though.
You could try to turn it slowly and then really quickly and see if there a difference.

Well after today I must say that its OK. Nothing great. I have had better dampers such as Ohlins and Hyperpro. To anyone wanting to buy a damper my recommendation is to buy something other than the Ducati damper. I am really surprised that this product isnt that great quality.
