Either one, the Beast for low end, the R for mid and top end power. I'm running the R. You'll need A Dp ECU or some means of adjusting your fuel map to compensate for less intake restriction. You should also have at least a slip-on exhaust.

makes the beast r a great deal.
I'm running the 'r' myself and got say that .5 to full throttle sounds freakin' awesome. Bike pulls harder everywhere ( and dropping 4 lbs doesn't hurt either).
Going on vacation shortly and will drop bike off for tuning, and looking forward to posting the dyno. That said, the guy that did my cams told me straight up that I'm going to lose power, and that the stock air box is best.
I'm trying to swing a deal that if it makes more power with the Beast r, he'll do the tuning for free;-) (my hole card is I was running the -1 front sprocket, and bikes with lower gears chart lower on the dyno. I am now running stock gearing)

I run the R kit as well, went from 105.15hp to 107.37hp and 76.69 to 80.40 on the tourque. Had a little dip in the fuel curve that was fixed quickly through adjusting the map on the PCIII.
All the power gain was between 4200-8400 revs.
I would say it was worth it

That's very impressive! Must be fun to ride. I had across the board gains with the Beast R but my engine is stock. Here is a before and after chart.

These are some great numbers for a stock motor, should be a keeper.

Dukepilot, where was your dyno done? Is that Nichols`? I know they all vary but damn! You have about 7 pds more torque and only 5 less horses then me and my motor is built.
