Ducati North America's Hypermotard Demo Rides

I assume you were all aware of this, the last one is this weekend in the bay area:
- anybody going there?
- anybody attended the previous ones?
I hope it will all go ok as I would say experience needed

HYPERMOTARD DEMOS SLIDE INTO A TOWN NEAR YOU
"Ducati North America unveiled its new Hyper Truck at Miller Motorsports Park during the World Superbike race weekend and is now determined to put you in the saddle of the most exciting motorcycle in the world. Built to be nothing less than pure, unadulterated fun, the Hypermotard must be ridden to be fully appreciated. Now you can experience the exhilarating ride as the Hyper Truck tours North America. Loaded with Hypermotards, Ducati's tractor trailer will be touring all summer offering demo rides and world-class hospitality."

The last ones are this weekend in the bay area:

HYPERMOTARD DEMOS AT WORLD-FAMOUS ALICE'S
"Come join the Ducati North America Hypermotard Demo Truck at the world-famous Bay Area ride destination—Alice's Restaurant. On July 11-13 from 9am-5pm each day Ducati will transform the crossroads of Highways 84 and 35 into the only place you need to be.

The first ever major Ducati event at this renowned destination and the first ever demo event at Alice's by any manufacturer will put you in the seat of the Hypermotard on the types of roads it was made for. The continuous corners of 84 and Skyline welcome all riders whether local or on the pilgrimage to the MotoGP at Laguna Seca the following weekend.

15 Hypermotards in all styles of dress from the standard to the S loaded with Ducati Performance parts and accessories will be available to demo on a first come, first served basis. Get there early as rides fill up quickly."

I would say there were at least 15 of them.

There were probably 10 in stock form. Five were S models with Termis. Of the S model, 2 were fully decked out with steering dampeners, carbon fiber everything, and full race Termis. I got to ride one of the two S but mine had a slipper clutch with it. WOW!

According to my drinking buddy, who works at Ducati NA, they have only had two bikes crashed at one of these demo rides.

I may pop up there on Saturday morning just for grins.

I saw the Ducati semi at Miller Motorsports in SLC and it is going to be interesting watching them get it down 35 to Alices.

Stupid Demo ride, cost me big time. I went in to test ride an 848 the day the Demo trailer was at my local dealer, and now we have both the 848 and the Hypermotard. No more Demo rides for me for a while.

Bill, John, Peter & all,

Let's show up Saturday morning together, we'll watch and get coffee.
I'll drive instead of riding as I have Nico with me and no side car on the HM ;-)
We can follow these guys and recover the fallen body parts, I mean Ducati body parts and real body parts, I am getting old I need a few new parts

Saturday 10am at Alice ok?

Cheers,

Christian.

I'll be there as close 10am as possible. Depends upon when the wife gets back from surfing.

The Ducati semi is already there this Friday AM.
